General Director, Federal Budget Organisation “State Commission on Mineral Resources”Igor Shpurov was born in 1964 in Tumen. In 1987 he graduated from Industrial University of Tumen with the diploma of mining engineer. Mr. Shpurov has a degree of Candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences. From 1985 he was working as a technician in OJSC “SibNIINP” in the engineering department of Samotlorskiy deposit, then as an associate science officer, science officer, manager of a laboratory till 1999. From 1995-manager of the department of the projection development of Samotlorskiy deposits in OJSC “SibNIINP”. From 1999 till 2000 he worked as Personal Assistant to the Director in the Department of geology and projection of Samotlorskiy deposit. From 2000 till 2004 Igor Shpurov was a General Director of JS Co “Petroleum Company “Paritet”, made service works in projecting and adoption in production of oil recovery factor improvement and stimulation of oil production. In 2004 Igor Shpurov was appointed the Director of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “ZapSibNIIGG”, since 2006 till 2013 was a General Director of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “ZapSibNIIGG”. Under his management from 2004 to 2013 the production increased tenfold. In November 2013 Igor Shpurov was appointed to the position of the General Director of Federal Budget Organisation “State Commission on Mineral Resources”.
