Vice President and Head of Scania Mining, ScaniaBjörn holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and joined Scania in 1987. He started his career within engine production and has since then among other things worked as Area Sales Manager, covering markets all over the world between 1998 and 2001. In 2001 he took up the position as Regional Manager covering UK, Ireland, USA, Canada and the Benelux area. In 2006 he became director with global responsibility for sales, marketing as well as product planning of Scania’s construction vehicles. Since 2012 Björn is running the business area Scania Mining.
