Robin Simpson has almost 20 years of experience in mining geology, resource estimation and exploration. After graduating from University of Canterbury in New Zealand, Robin worked as a mine geologist at open pit and underground gold mines in Australia. He later supplemented this practical experience with an MSc in Geostatistics from the University of Leeds in the UK. In 2005 Robin joined the Australian practice of SRK, and he has since worked in the UK and Moscow offices. His particular commodity experience covers most precious and base metals, rare earths, diamonds, phosphate and uranium.
