CEO, JSC "Pavlik Gold"Vasily Makarov was born in 1955 in Tashkent. He graduated from the Faculty of Geology of Tashkent State University with a degree in Geological Survey and the Prospecting of Mineral Deposits. He worked on the Kyzylkumskaya geological expedition, at one of the enterprises of Newmont Mining Corp, and at the consulting firm NBL Gold. He has participated in the evaluation of mining projects in Russia and abroad. He joined Pavlik in 2007. He manages projects to evaluate reserves and resources at deposits of gold and other precious metals for potential investment in exploration and mining.
