GroundProbe - Providing safety and mining efficiency with slope stability radar
GroundProbe is a leading provider of safety solutions to the global mining industry. GroundProbe is renowned for its development of the world’s first Slope Stability Radar; a system to monitor mine walls and warn before collapses occur in open pit mines. With a core focus on making mining safer and more productive, GroundProbe’s state-of-the-art technology has detected more than 500 wall failures. Slope Stability Radars are a best-practice solution for risk mitigation, where an early warning of wall failure provides time for the evacuation of people, assets and equipment; and are pivotal in the optimisation of production, where the maximum volume of materials can be extracted if the pit is being properly monitored for movement, enabling for maximum revenue.
