On the 5th of October the MINEX Russia 2016 mining forum will be hosting a business podium, where market participants will present cutting edge solutions and technologies for the mining industry.
The Scientific director of the Diamant LLC Mr Mikhail Sapozhnikov will describe the tagged neutrons method for finding diamonds in kimberlite. “We shall be discussing the results of testing an experimental prototype device for locating diamonds in kimberlite ore using tagged neutrons which took place at the Severalmaz enrichment complex.” – explained Mr Sapozhnikov.
The Deputy Chief of the commercial department, at VNIPIpromtechnologii Konstantin Kazakov will talk about the modern approach to the industrial designing and complex projects implementation.
Using a few examples, Mr Vsevolod Shulyakovskiy who is the Chief of 3D laser scanning department at ArtGeo will share his experience in of using laser scanning technology in the mining industry.
Laser scanners are used to detect displacements of pit walls and faces.
A senior geologist at Datamine, Mr Roman Kolesinskiy will share his knowledge on ore control system requirements.
A leading researcher at the Irgiredmet JSC, Ms Nina Voiloshnikova will talk about the development of recovery technology for complex gold-bearing ores. “The report presents the results of research to develop technology to extract gold and other valuable components from of gold, iron, and gold-antimony ores”- said Mrs. Voiloshnikova.
The session will be closed by Mr Ivan Osadchiy, who will be presenting the Putzmeister Piston pumps for underground mines, quarries and processing plants. Mr Osadchiy will describe the working principles and specifics of the pumps and their application in mining.
The session will be moderated by the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, SRK Consulting (Russia) Ltd Ivan Livinskiy.
