At the second session entitled “Russia’s top Gold producers: driving economic development of Russia’s Eastern territories”, which is going to take place on the 5th of October at the 12th annual mining and exploration forum MINEX Russia-2016, the heads of the leading Russian gold mining companies will discuss mining enterprises located in the Far East.
The Polymetal International Plc Group CEO Vitaly Nesis will talk about the strategic approach and practical implementation of exploration in the Russian far east.
Chairman of the Board Mr Peter Hambro and the companies CEO Paul Maslowski from the Petropavlovsk SC will talk about their future projects in the Far East.
The Vice President of the Kinross Gold Corporation, Mr Lou Naumovski will report on the benefits and development brought to the far east of Russia by the mining industry.
The Highland Gold Mining CEO Denis Alexandrov will be making a presentation on mineral resources as the basis for regional development.
The GV Gold CEO, Mr Sergey Vasilyev will present this insights into improving efficiency of resource based economy.
The prospects of gold exploration in Magadan region will be discussed by Vasiliy Makarov, General Director at Pavlik Gold. Mr Makarov considers the region a major up and coming gold mining cluster in Russia.
The session will be closed by the Vice Chairman of the China Gold Association Mr Shengbin Wang who will discuss the development status and current trends in the Chinese gold industry.
The Governor of the Magadan Region Mr Vladimir Pecheniy is also planning on participating in the session.
The session will be moderated by the Chairman of The Russian Union of Gold Producers, Mr Sergey Kashuba.
