Prior to that, he worked in several positions in oil company Sibneft and Gazprom-neft, including Deputy Chief of Procurement, and Chief Engineer of regional development projects of Far East Federal District. He is a graduate of Higher Military School in Engineering, he received a degree in law from Moscow Institute of Law Ministry of Internal Affairs, and an MBA degree in logistics management.
