The third day of MINEX Russia 2016 will open with a session entitled “The Eurasian Economic partnership – cross border investment, regulation and production”. The 6th session of the forum, it will provide a platform for discussing cross-border cooperation. The primary topic for discussion here will be foreign investment into Russian projects.
A leading economist, an Economic Affairs Officer at UNCTAD, Mr Alexei Mojarov will describe the current formats of international cooperation in the mining industry.
Mr Boris Yatsenko, a partner and Head of the Metals & Mining Group in Russia and CIS in EY will talk about raising finance for investment projects in the field of mining in modern conditions.
The CEO of the Far East Development Fund, Alexei Chekunkov will report on attracting capital to the mining industry in the Far East regions of Russia.
The Managing Director of the Eurasian Development Bank, Mr Alexander Gareev will demonstrate the options offered by the merging capital market and investments in order to finance mining projects in the EEU member states.
The president of the “NP RTS” Association, Mr Roman Goryunov will explain using the “Voskhod” system as a way to invest in the Far East.
Igor Shpurov, General Director at Russia’s State Commission on Mineral Reserves (GKZ) will talk about the experience of implementation of the crude hydrocarbons’ stores and main aspects in the classification in solid commercial minerals.
The development of geological information systems and availability of geological information will be discussed by Ruslan Baymishev, the Head at the State Institution “Republican Centre of geological information “Kazgeoinform”, Committee of Geology and Subsoil Use, Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The General Director at Wardell Armstrong Russia and Kazakhstan, Ms Julia Boiko will answer the question if there is a light at the end of the tunnel for the mining industry in 2016.
